Craving for a Snowman Shortbread

For once I am going to try to bribe you with a recipe. I found this one at cityparent.com and thought it was a yummy thing to try, special because the Holidays are approaching, winter is here and the picture looked nice.
So, what about some cute edible snowmen?

The Ingredients are for your to have in your pantry I guess:
3 cups            All purpose flour
1 1/2  cups     Softened unsalted butter
1 1/2 tsp.        Vanilla extract
3/4 cup           Icing sugar
1/2 tsp.           Salt
Mini chocolate chips
Gum drops
Toothpicks

And these Instructions are quite simple. Will serve 8 snowmen or snow-women :)
Line 3 different rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.
Beat butter with icing sugar, vanilla and salt until fluffy. Add flour and mix well.  If warm put it on the fridge until it becomes easy to handle.
Measure 2tbsp portions into 8 balls for snowmen bases, arrange by size on prepared baking sheets.
Measure 1 tbsp. and then 2 tsp. balls and do the same. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350oC
Bake large balls for18 mins, medium for 15 mins and small for 12 mins.
Let them cool. Arrange the balls to form the snowmen and glue them with icing and water.

Use toothpicks for arms, gums for eyes and chocolate chips for buttons.

Enjoy!
